'Telling Details, a NaNoWriMo Study Hall' hosted by North Seattle Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Meetup

The following is a community event and not sponsored or facilitated by CC.

What: A NaNoWriMo study hall that focuses on the details. Bring a single sentence from your current work that vividly describes a character, setting or situation. We'll spend 15-30 minutes talking about how to choose the right details for your purposes and what it is we're trying to describe, and then we'll write silently, with occasional check-ins for motivation.

Where: Jade Lounge, 2421 S Union Ave in Tacoma.

How to Find Us: There aren’t that many tables! Look for the one with a paper sign that says “North Seattle Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers” propped up against a stack of books

Who: Open to all writers, even if you're not participating in NaNoWriMo

Covid: the cafe is moderately ventilated and is open to the public. Masks are welcome but not required, and many people in the space will be drinking coffee unmasked. Please be fully vaccinated, and stay home if you have any symptoms of covid or have been exposed to anyone with any symptoms!

Other accessibility info: Jade Lounge has no steps, and has accessible parking and bathrooms. It may be chilly/drafty. Menu can be found here: www.jadelounge253.com
